Christmas Mint Tea

For the holidays, of course, either Christmas or perhaps for New Year's Eve. It's the tartness of the dried cherries that adds real piquancy to this beverage.

  • 8 tablespoons black ceylon tea leaves
  • 3 tablespoons dried peppermint leaves
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • Sugar to taste

Method

Tie tea leaves, cherries, and mint leaves into a muslin or cheesecloth bag.

Bring 2 quarts of water to a brisk boil, add the bag, remove from heat and allow to steep for 20 minutes.

Serve with sugar to taste.
