METHOD
Melt butter in a saucepan, then add brown sugar, ice cream and vanilla extract. Freeze the mixture until it reaches the consistency of ice cream.
To serve, spoon a large scoop of the mixture
into 12 mugs along with one ounce of the rum per cup (or more, to taste).
Fill each mug to the brim with hot water.
