Hot Buttered Rum

A variation for the holiday season, whether Thanksgiving or Christmas

  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons rum

 

 

 

 

Method

In a mug, stir together the brown sugar, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Stir in the warm water. Cook in microwave until steaming hot.

Remove and stir in the rum.
