Coffee Eggnog

These are basics measures.  Adjust them to suit the number of glasses you are making

  • 8 ounces freshly brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • Nutmeg to taste

 

 

Method

Combine sugar and egg yolk, and beat well.

In a small saucepan heat cream over low heat. Do not boil!

Slowly whisk in egg/sugar mixture and when blended, remove from heat. Do not boil!

Pour coffee into large cups and top with cream mixture.

Sprinkle with nutmeg and enjoy!

Recipe yields two cups.
