Caribbean Rum Truffle

This Haitian rum adds notes of caramel and honey and a brandy-like bouquet.  A great holiday drink.

  • 2 ounces Rhum Barbancourt
  • 1 1/4 ounces Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur
  • 3/4 ounce White Crème de Cacao
  • 1 1/2 ounces espresso, cooled to room temperature
  • Ground nutmeg

 

 

Method

 

 

 

 

Into a cocktail shaker prepared with cracked ice, pour the rum, chocolate liqueur, Crème de cacao, and espresso.  Shake vigorously until the contents are thoroughly combined and chilled.  Strain into a pre-chilled martini glass rimmed with nutmeg.
