Grilled Chicken Livers

These chicken livers are a great appetizer and will serve a lot of people if part of a large barbecue.

  • 1 pound chicken livers
  • 1 pound bacon
  • Salt and pepper to tast
 

METHOD

Cut livers in half and wash. Pat dry. Cut bacon strips in half. Season livers with salt and pepper.

Wrap each liver piece with bacon, securing with a wooden toothpick. This is a messy job but well worth the time.

Grill until bacon and liver are done. Dip into BBQ sauce and enjoy.

Serves: 4 - 8
