Method
Combine all of the ingredients (except the Onion Rolls) in a large bowl and
blend well. Shape the mixture into 4 patties and place on a broiler pan or
a grill. Broil 4 inches from the heat until they are done to your taste,
about 15 minutes for Medium-Rare, turning once halfway through the cooking
time.
Or: Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. When the grill is ready, brush the grill rack with vegetable oil. Place patties on grill 3 to 5 inches from coals; cook 4 to 8 minutes
each side, turning once only, or to desired degree of doneness (145°F for medium-rare, 160°F for medium or 170°F for well done).
Serve on the onion rolls. For extra flavor, saute a few onions for
the buns and add fresh lettuce leaves.
