This
is an Ashkenazi Jewish recipe. The pepper isownderful with apples - many
opeople use a bit when making the basic apple pie.
1/2 cup olive oil
2 sliced onions
8 peppers (all colors)
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 cup white dry wine
1/4 cup balasmic vinegar
4 green apples (sour) - cubed
METHOD
Heat oil in an heavy
pot and fry onions for 5 minutes. Add pepper and garlic. Fry for 3 minutes.
Add wine, vinegar, apples and cook for 10 minutes on low heat. Cool. Serve
the day after.
