METHOD
In microwave, melt 1/4
cup butter and 1/4 cup brown sugar together. Pour into 9 x 13 baking pan.
Add pineapple, apples and cranberries. Mix together. Place bread slices
over fruit mixture, pushing bread together to fit.
In bowl, whisk together
eggs, half and half, cinnamon and nutmeg. Pour carefully over bread making
sure to cover bread completely. Cover pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate
overnight.
Next morning, preheat
oven to 350°F. Melt remaining butter and brown in sugar together in
microwave. Remove baking pan from refrigerator and remove plastic wrap.
Place spoonfuls of butter-sugar mixture over bread slices. Bake for 45
minutes.
Let stand 3-5 minutes
before serving.
