Sticky Glazed Pork Ribs

Serve these sticky ribs to chew on with drinks or arrange them on a salad for a sit-down appetizer.  Either way, be sure you offer plenty of napkins for wiping sticky fingers.

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Chinese five-spice powder
  • Ground black pepper
  • 12 pork ribs

Method

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Combine the honey, soy sauce, and five-spice powder, and season with black pepper in a large bowl.  Add the ribs and turn them to coat them all over in the honey mixture.

Put the ribs in a roasting pan in a single layer, brush remaining glaze over them, and bake for 30 minutes, until glossy and well browned.  Serve hot.
