Stuffed Clams

      • 1 onion, minced
      • 1 clove garlic, pressed
      • 1 teaspoon olive oil
      • 1 cup minced clams with liquid
      • 1 cup bread crumbs
      • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
      • 2 tablespoons white wine
      • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
      • 1 tablespoon minced parsley
      • 1 teaspoon oregano
      • Salt and freshly milled pepper to taste
 

Method

Over medium heat, saute onion and garlic in oil until golden. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Stuff into clam shells; place on baking sheet.

Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 10 minute.  Serve hot in shells.
