Method
Peel, core and slice the apple into wedges. Set aside.
In a large pan, heat the butter and saute the garlic until lightly golden, about two minutes. Add the apple wedges and saute for another minute.
Add the sherry to deglaze the pan.
Add the milk, curry, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and lower the heat. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Add the chutney and shrimp, and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Serve over brown or wild rice, or cooked noodles.
