Scalloped Lobster

  • 1 1/2 cups lobster meat
  • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1 cup milk or thin cream
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Few drops of onion juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • Freshly milled black pepper to taste
  • Extra bread crumbs for topping
  • Extra butter for top
 

Method

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Mix ingredients together in order given. Pour into a lightly greased baking dish and cover with bread crumbs. Dot with pea-size pieces of extra butter.

Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until top is golden-brown.

Serves: 4
