Strawberry & Banana Smoothie

 

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 1/2 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 (8 ounce) container vanilla low-fat yogurt
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries - preferably fresh and very ripe!
 

Method

Peel bananas and slice into 1/2 inch pieces.  Put on a baking sheet without overlapping and freeze until they get hard.

When frozen, put into an electric blender along with pineapple juice, yogurt and strawberries.  Whir until smooth. 

Yield: 5 cups
