Hot Dog Potato Pups

 

  • 8 hot dogs

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
 

Method

Preheat oven to 375°F. 

Sprinkle mashed potatoes with dry mustard.  Mix well.

Split hot dogs lengthwise almost, but not quite through. Fill the long split opening with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle paprika over each hot dog. 

Bake in preheated 375°F oven for about 15 minutes or until  heated through and slightly browned on top.

Grated cheddar cheese is another nice topping. 

Serves: 6 - 8
