Beat the yellow of the egg with sugar. Add warm milk and mix well.
Transfer to a saucepan and mix together on low heat until mixture is warm. DO NOT BOIL. Add gelatine and stir until melted.
Pour mixture into a large bowl and set aside to cool. When cool, stir in orange juice.
Beat egg white and whipping cream in separate bowls. Fold together, then fold in the orange mixture.
Cool in refrigerator until set.
