METHOD
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Cook all filling in double boiler
until pudding consistency. Use mixer to blend in pot.
Pour into a graham cracker crust
in a 1 quart bowl. (Mother made her own crust)
Meringue: Beat egg whites until
frothy. Add salt while beating. Add sugar 1 tablespoon at a time until
dissolved and stiff peaks form. Gently place on top of filling.
Place in preheated oven at 350°
F until brown.
Yield: 1 pie
