Blueberry Cobbler

This is a heart-healthy recipe, nutritious with the inclusion of blueberries.

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1-1/2 quarts blueberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
 

METHOD

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Melt butter in 9 inch square baking pan. Add blueberries to the pan with the butter. Mix sugar, flour, and buttermilk together in a separate bowl. Pour flour mixture into pan over blueberries. Bake for 1 hour in preheated 400°F oven . It will make its own crust.

Serves: 8
