METHOD
Preheat oven to 350°
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the sugars, shortening, eggs and vanilla.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
When well blended, add the corn flakes and coconut. Mix well and drop by teaspoonfuls on a lightly greased baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool.
