Tropical Fruit Salsa

  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 rib celery, finely chopped
  • 1 mango, peeled, pitted and diced
  • 1/2 papaya, peeled, seeded and diced
  • 1/2 avocado, peeled, pitted and diced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons powdered cumin
  • Salt or to taste
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
 

Method

Combine all ingredients and stir gently to mix well.  Gently does it with avocado and soft fruits!

Refrigerate several hours to allow flavors to blend. Serve with tortilla chips, fruit or veggie pieces or top off a burger!

Yield: About 10 servings
